Marvin Leon was born to Delzo Leon and Katherine Anderson on August 2, 1942 in Crosbyton, Texas. He was employed with the Texas Department of Highways and Public Transportation, where he retired following 25 years of service. He served in the United States Army during World War II. Marvin, as a mason, was an endowed member of the Grand Lodge of Texas and the Mackenzie Lodge #1327. He served a past master of the Shallowater Lodge #1279, past district deputy grand master 93-B, and the certified masonic instructor. Marvin was a recipient of the Golden Trowell.
Survivors include his children, Randy Anderson and his wife, Rita, Tammy Hamersley and husband, Mike, and Kyle Anderson; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Jerry Don Anderson and wife Madge and a sister, Melba Bryant.
