Kathleen Abate, 67
CARLSBAD - Kathleen Frances Abate, 67, died Monday, Aug. 11, 2003, at her home of natural causes.
She was born March 3, 1936, in Jamestown, N.Y. She was in the insurance industry.
Ms. Abate was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Paluh-Rabideau, in June 1994.
She is survived by her mother, Theresa Abate of Nelsonville, Ohio; sons Donald Paluh of Far Rockaway, N.Y., Richard Paluh, Joseph Paluh and Kenneth Paluh, all of Erie, Pa.; daughters Sue Paluh of Seattle and Jeanette Paluh of Carlsbad; brothers Frank Abate of Washington, D.C., and Dominick Abate of Nelsonville; sisters Grace Lowe of Erie, Mary Ann White of Ohio, and Nancy Abate of Florida; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service is scheduled for 3 p.m. today, Aug. 15, at Tamarack Beach. Private burial at sea is planned.
