MODEL SOLDIER'S FUNERAL
Funeral services for William L. Allison, known by reason for his long and flawless service as the model soldier of the United States army, will be held this afternoon from his late residence, No. 147 West Forty-second place. Interment will be at Rosedale. Mr. Allison was born in 1843 and lacked but a few days of being 72 years old at the time of his death. He leaves a sister, Mrs. M. M. Van Bibber of this city, two nieces, Mrs. Alice C. Viall, also of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Ada E. Carter of Alamogordo, N. M., and a nephew, Charles W. Viall of San Bernardino.
