Milburn V. "Duke" Helms, 75, of Pensacola died on Tuesday, May 26, 1992, at a local hospital.
Mr. Helms was born in North Platte, Nebraska. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and a veteran of World War II, the Korean Conflict, and the Viet Nam War.
Survivors include his wife, Marion Helms of Pensacola; two daughters, Christine Rowley of Pensacola and Laurie Picard of Atlanta, Georgia; a sister, Ida Bernice Sweem of Washington; a brother, Glenn Odell Helms of Nebraska; a stepson; two stepdaughters; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services at Aviation Memorial Chapel at N.A.S. with Navy Chaplain Lapp officiating.
