Timothy Ferris, G.R. & I. Tender, Found Dead at His Home
Timothy Ferris, the aged crossing tender for several years of the G.R. & I. at West Bridge street, was found dead Sunday in the yard of the house at No. 4 Alabama street. The body was discovered by John Blass who also lives in the house and on examination it was found that the man’s neck was broken, probably from having fallen down stairs. It is not though that an inquest will be held.”

Timothy Ferris is the father of John (b. 1868) Mary Ann (b.18 Jul 1869), Maggie (b.9 Dec 1872) and Thomas (b. 27 Dec1879 d. 7 Feb 1943)
He is the son of Patrick Ferris and Bridget Stack. He has a sister Margaret Ferris Emperor.
