An elderly Man Who Died in Bronx Hospital Monday Proves Missing Arch Duke:

NEW YORK, April 3 – Friends of the elderly man who died in a Bronx hospital Monday under the name of O.N. Orlow, doctor of philosophy, but whose death certificate bears the name of Johann Salvator, long mysteriously missing Arch Duke of Austria, today turned their eyes to Rio de Janerio for proof of the contention that he was the long sought member of the house of Hapsburg.
Documentary evidence proving conclusively that "O.N. Orlow" was in reality the Austrian nobleman, was believed to have been left by him with friends in the South American city, several years ago.
This information became known yesterday, at the time several persons of noble birth affirmed their belief that the dead man was the missing archduke, second cousin to the late emperor Franz Joseph. The vicomte, Henry De Fries, an Austrian nobleman and friend of "Orlow" said he was convinced the distinguished and courteous elderly man was what he claimed to be, although a Vienna court, after a long investigation, had decreed the archduke Johann to have been killed in a shipwreck in 1890.
The Vicomte, also said he and several other persons of noble birth; also convinced that "Orlow" in reality was the archduke, would attend his funeral service. These will include, he said, the Princess Marie De Bourham and Madame Francis De Splacissy.
"Salvator" funeral arrangements for which have not yet been completed, will include services for Miss Grace Wakefield, 51 year old ward of the Archduke, who committed suicide the day after his death. After the funeral, which probably will be held in historic St. Mark's-in-the-Bouwerie, Miss Wakefield's body will be cremated with those of two parrots and a pet Spaniel which she drowned just before she killed herself.
