Obituary of my friend, James L. Phillips.
James L. Phillips, 42, of Portland, died March 3, 1995. He was born Feb. 2, 1953, in Ionia, the son of George and Arlene (Wellman) Phillips.
He is survived by his mother Arlene, three brothers, Larry and Danny, both of Portland and Robert (Roxanne) Phillips of East Lansing and one sister, Sandy Reeder, of Portland. He was preceded in death by his father George.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m. at the Gorsline-Runciman Co., Neller Chapel, in Portland. The Pastor Jim E. Howard, of the First Baptist
Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Portland Cemetery.
