Bertha June Lundy Andrews

Bertha June Lundy Andrews, 70, died Tuesday, May 7, 2002, at her residence in Indianapolis.

She was born June 16, 1931, in Portsmouth, Ohio. Her parents were Chester and Clara (Rollins)
Burgess. Survivors include three daughters, Karen Lohman, Carolyn Sue Hammond and Lisa
Himes, all of Indianapolis; a sister, Sandra Lumpkins of Vanceburg, Ky.; her caregiver; Christina Gosnell of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Leslie W. Burgess.

She was employed by Waffle House as a waitress for three years, retiring in 1992, and by the
Omelette Shop for six years, retiring in 1988.

The Rev. Bill Gott will conduct a service at 1 p.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Wilson St. Pierre
Funeral Home, State Road 135 Chapel. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral
home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in White River Township.

Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
