Dale W. Murray, 58, of La Plata, Md., formerly of Deal, Pa., died
at his home Thursday, Dec. 29, 1994, after a long illness. He was
born April 22, 1936, in Deal, a son of the late Wilbert and Nannie V.
(Crissinger) Murray. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia
M. (LaRue) Murray, and these children: Jeffrey D., Washington, D.C.;
Melinda A. Howard, Hughesville, Md., and Wendy J. Townsend, Waldorf,
Md. A brother of Doris Hay of Rockwood; Howard Murray of Meyersdale
Rd 3, and Wayne Murray of Hanover, Md. Also five grandchildren. A
graduate of the University of Baltimore and Michigan State
University. A former professor at Frostburg State University in the
computer science department. He was currently working for the
Department of the Navy in Dahlgren, Va. Friends will be received
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Leckemby Funeral Home,
Meyersdale, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, with
Father James F. Bunn officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery.
