Thomas A. Yowell, age 75 passed away in his sleep Easter morning, April 24, 2011. He was born February 6, 1936.
Thomas is survived by his brother, William (Toni) Gordon Yowell of Prescott, AZ; his children Sarah Sue Potter, William Henry Yowell, Wendy Jane Fowler, Diana Joy LeDonne, and Wesley Thomas Yowell; 23 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren.
Tom served in the U.S. Army and played football while serving. Tom was a hard worker and good provider to his family as a land surveyor for over 40 years in the Yuma area. He enjoyed exploration of the desert sharing that perfect oasis in the desert with his family with his famous BBQ ribs cooked on milk crates as an oven rack.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the Chapel of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 4300 West 16th Street, Yuma.
