LANARK—Mrs. Elmer (Mary) Cooley of Lanark died Friday night to a Freeport hospital, where she had been admitted a short time earlier. A life-time resident of the Jo Daviess-Carroll County area, Mrs. Cooley was born Jan. 20, 1878, in Derinda Township, Jo Daviess County, daughter of Herman and Mary Frey. She was married on Oct. 19, 1899, to Elmer Cooley in Savanna. Her husband died in 1926.
Survivors include two daughters, Miss Emma Cooley of Lanark and Mrs. Edward Wolfe of Savanna; a sister, Mrs. Hagie Sisler of Redwood, Calif.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her husband, four sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Frank Funeral Home with Rev.
