Bobbie R. Bickford, 76, of Noble, Oklahoma passed away January 6, 2007.

He was born on November 1, 1930 to Paul M. and Clovie Bickford at Swan Lake, Oklahoma. In 1934 his family moved to California where he attended Westmorland and Brawley Schools.

He served in the US Army (1947-1952) with the 26th AAA 24th Inf. Div., in the occupation of Japan & Korea War which he spent driving M-39's and Half-tracts. He was wounded in action with Company E, 19th Inf. Reg. and retired from the service to resume the remainder of his life as long distance truck driver in California & Oklahoma. He loved traveling and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bob is survived by his wife Norma Bickford of 54 years; one son, Dan Bickford and his wife Cathy of Gresham, OR; two daughters, Paula Bickford of Noble, OK., Rene' Burden and husband Mike of Maricopa, AZ.; four grandchildren, Bobby Bickford & wife Jesse of Boise, ID, Carolyn Bickford & husband CJ of Oregon City, OR., Aimee West of Maricopa, AZ., Jennifer Etzel and husband Aaron of Chandler, AZ; four Great Grandchildren, Avery & Elle Bickford, Alyssa and Emma Etzel.

Visitation for family & friends will be at the Havenbrook Funeral Home in Norman, OK. from 6 to 8 PM. on Wednesday, January 10, 2007.

Funeral Services will follow on Thursday, January 11, 2007 at 11 AM. at the Havenbrook Chapel, 3401 Havenbrook, Norman, OK.
