Annie L. Dobbs, 69 of Loraine died at 2 p.m. Friday at West Texas Medical Center in Abilene after a brief illness. Services will be today (Sunday) at 3 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Loraine with Rev. Fred Witta pastor of that church officiating.

Burial will be in the Loraine Cemetery, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Born Annie Kirkpatrick on October 11, 1909 in Rotan, she married Martin Dobbs August 27, 1936 in Sweetwater and lived in Loraine most of her life. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Loraine and graduated from Loraine High School in 1928. She. was also a member of the Loraine Senior Citizens Club.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Dell Kirby of Levelland, two sons, Mike Wayne Dobbs of Big Spring and Thomas James Dobbs of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Avis Willis and her brother-in-law, Foster of Abilene; one brother Weyman Kirkpatrick and his wife Mary Ruth of Texarkana, one sister-in-law Sybil Eddins of Lubbock and five grandchildren.
