KNOWN AS PAT, SHE WAS MY GRANDMA.,MORE WHAT I WOULD CALL MAMA. SHE WAS A HOME MAKER, SHE HAD 3 CHILDREN. 2 GIRLS MAXINE AND DELLA (KELLI) AND A BOY, WHICH WAS ELWIN ROSCOE HANDLEY JR. WHO PASSED AWAY AT 16. SHE WAS MARRIED OVER 50 YEARS TO HER ONLY HUSBAND. ELWIN HANDLEY. GRANDMA BASICALLY RAISED ME. I LEARNED MANY GOOD LESSONS FROM HER . SHE ALWAYS HAD TIME TO HELP ME WITH SCHOOL LESSONS, AND I THINK ABOUT ALL THE SUMMERS WHEN I WAS YOUNG AND I KNEW SHE WAS THERE TAKING CARE OF ME WHILE I PLAYED. SHE ALWAYS WAS TAKING CARE OF OTHERS IN HER YOUNG LIFE. SHE TAUGHT ME MANY THINGS LIKE NEVER DO ANYTHING YOU CANT ADMIT, THE LEAST SAID IS THE EASIEST MENDED AND THE LIST GOES ON FOREVER,
I MISS SO MUCH TALKING TO HER, SHE WAS SO EASY TO TELL THINGS TO. LIKE I SAID SHE WAS LIKE A MAMA. I CAN NOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW MUCH I WISH SHE WAS STILL HERE.

SADIE PEARL ``PAT'' HANDLEY

A (GRANDMA) mother is the truest friend we have, when trials heavy and sudden, fall upon us; when adversity takes the place of prosperity; when friends who rejoice with us in our sunshine desert us; when trouble thickens around us, still will she cling to us, and endeavor by her kind precepts and counsels to dissipate the clouds of darkness, and cause peace to return to our hearts." ~Washington Irving~
