Father: Silas Leon Counts
Mother: Beulah June Hager Counts
David Joseph Counts, the son of Silas and Beulah Counts of Nampa, passed silently away in a Boise Hospital. He was 1 day old.
He was placed for burial in the arms of his mother, Beulah June Hager Counts, who had passed away the day before.
Services for David and his mother were held November 12 1975 at the Marsing LDS chapel where many family members and friends were in attendance.
Their final resting place is at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell. Arrangments were made with great care and concern by Alsip Funeral Chapel in Nampa.
David leaves behind a family who had much love for him. His life had been awaited and anticipated with much eagerness. He was to be a son, a brother and a friend. Our hopes were so high for his future. We wondered if he would like puppies or kittens and would he play with trucks or teddy bears. What kind of man would he grow up to be? With him, he takes a piece of all of us, those who knew him, waited for his arrival, and held him close in the hours before he died.
Besides his father, Silas, he is survived by his brother Earnest Gabriel Carletti, his grandparents; Ray Counts of Nampa, Helen Counts of Boise, Clark and Jane Hager of Marsing, Bessie Macky of Eagle and Thornton Branstine of Liberal Kansas, his great grand parents; Mr. and Mrs Leon Beyer of Caldwell, Myrtle Ostrander of Kinsley Kansas, Ada Hager of Fruitland, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother Beulah, who will hold him forever in her arms, a great-grandfather, William Hager and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
His name is forever etched across our hearts. He will be missed by us all.
