Born in Stafford, Kansas to Jerry and Lucille Wilson on December 27, 1910. Bob was predeceased by his parents and his only sibling, Margaret Wallingford. His loving wife, Helen, passed away in December 2008. After graduation from Kansas State he married his one love, Helen Hanson. They experienced a long and full life in their 73 years together. Bob settled on his long-time vocation as owner of a series of independent insurance agencies. Prior to this he worked at many jobs including managing an ice plant, a stint at Boeing during WWII, and selling auto insurance at an auto dealership. Bob loved dancing and traveling with Helen. He sang in numerous barbershop quartets and in the Senior Citizens Chorus. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Arkansas City, KS and a winter visitor at Trinity Presbyterian in Tucson, as well as a member of the Midian Shrine. Bob is survived by his three children, Janice, Ruth and Chris (Carolyn) Wilson
