Ms. Frances Marlene Kelley of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 6, 2011 in a Waldron Nursing Home. Frances was born on November 24, 1931 in Lovings, Oklahoma to the late James Arthur Simmons and Maudie Bennett Simmons. She was 79 years, 10 months and 12 days old.

Frances loved to quilt and to fish when she had the opportunity. But first and foremost was the love she had for her family. She enjoyed being surrounded by her children and grandchildren. The care and compassion she had for them was so obvious when she would speak to them or about them by the gleam in her eyes. Each of Frances family members drew stength from her committment and dedication to them.

Frances will be missed by the host of friends and co-workers she made over her years of service at Black Angus Restuarant in Poteau, Oklahaoma and Wooden Rail Restaurant in Heavener, Oklahoma where she was a chef. Frances also spent some time working for a nursing home in Heavener. She then spent many years at what started out as Valmac Tasty Bird and is now Tyson Foods holding many different job positions.

Frances was a member of Cauthron Baptist Church in Cauthron, Arkansas and later joined the Pentecostal Church of God in Waldron, Arkansas..

Frances leaves behind two sons, James Kelley and wife Dee Dee of Ft. Smith, Arkansas and Chris Kelley and wife Lita of Waldron, Arkansas and one son in law Ron Urban and one daughter in law Margaret Kelley both of Waldron, Arkansas. She was blessed with her grandchildren Angel Cabe and husband Jeff, Melarry Wood and huband Jeff, James Kelley and wife Misty, David Kelley, Larry Kelley, Toby Graves and wife LeAnna, Heather King and huband Craig, Ron Urban and wife Brittney Collins, Ashley Kelley, A.J. Kelley, Krista Whitney, Teresa Kelley. Frances also was surrounded by many greatchildren, Hayden Deans, Alyvia King, Emma King, Kyler Cabe, Katie Cabe, Tatelyn Wood, Devin Kelley, Daylyn Whitney, Landon Easton, Cindy Kelley, Shelby Kelley, Alex Kelley, Hayden Kelley and Rileigh Kelley.

Frances is preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Urban, a son, Larry Kelley and a grandchild Cynthia Kelley.

Frances' memorial visitation will be held Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. A private family interment service will follow in the Kirk Cemetery in Cauthron, Arkansas at a later date. Arrangements and cremation are being entrusted to the Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory in Waldron, Arkansas.
