VERMILION - Walter Abel, 77, of Jackson St, died suddenly yesterday morning in his home. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
Mr. Abel was born in Vermilion Nov 22 1883, and had lived here all his life, He was the son of Conrad Abell & Adelia Sharpe-Abell.
He was formerly employed by the Vermilion water Dept and during World War II was employed at Plum Brook Ordnance plant in Sandusky. He retired 15 years ago.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Carl Gott, Wellington and Mrs. Thomas Pederson, Vermilion; a son Burton of CA; four grandchildren; a great grandchild and a brother, Roy of Vermilion.
