Harry A. "Jack" Zimmerman Cart, 77, of Carlisle, died Sunday, Nov. 6, 2005, at his home.
He was born on Nov. 6, 1928, in Carlisle, a son of the late Harry and Mary (Cart) Zimmerman.
Jack was a veteran of the Korean conflict and retired from the Gables of Carlisle after 10 years of service. He also had worked at the Texas Lunch in Carlisle for many years. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, bingo and rottweilers.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George "Bud" and James Zimmerman; four sisters, Margaret and Catherine Zimmerman and Mary Rynard and Lura Burdick.
He is survived by his brother, John D. Zimmerman of Dillsburg; a sister, Sue Zimmerman of Carlisle; and many nieces and nephews.
Private graveside services will be held in the Old Graveyard in Carlisle.
