When the United States entered World War II, Linda and her sister Connie were employed as secretaries for Selective Service Local Board No. 126. President Franklin Roosevelt signed the Selective Training and Service Act of 1940 which created the country's first peacetime draft requiring registration to serve as a backup system to provide manpower to the U.S. Armed Forces.
She also worked as a secretary overseas for the Army in Italy.
Linda married Adriano Beddini in 1947 and they had 3 chldren:
Robert A. Beddini
Janet Linda Beddini
Elisse Beddini.
She was a devoted wife and mother as well as a beautiful person.
