Cordy Isreal married twice, first at age 18, to Earl R. Kelley July 14, 1911 in Jackson County, Missouri. The marriage ended in divorce but left her with a son, Lloyd Kelley. She married second to William Roy Ellis about 1920 and together they had one daughter June Evelyn Ellis.

Alma died in 1927 at age 34 years, 6 months and 22 days. She passed away in the Bell Memorial hospital, Wyandotte Co., Kansas. Funeral services were held at the Mrs. C. L. Forster Funeral Home at 3:00pm on Friday, December 2, 1927. Burial was at Mt. Washington cemetery, Kansas City, MO.

Cordey's funeral record was found in the Mount Washington Cemetery offices, record of interment #12017. The record showed her age at death as 34 yrs 5 mos 22 days, and that she was married. (NOTE: The Mrs. C. L. Forster funeral home, where Cordey's funeral was conducted, was later sold to the Stine and McClure Funeral Home, and then again sold to the D. W. Newcomer and Sons Funeral Home.)

Cordy's gravestone is located in the Mount Washington Cemetery, between Independence Avenue (on the north) and Truman Road (on the south), just inside the western city limit of Independence, MO. The grave is in the southernmost part of the cemetery, section 16, lot 272, location N-2'6" W6", nearest to the gate on Truman Road.

Alma's son Lloyd Kelley, and her mother Alice Ross Isreal Phillips are buried in unmarked graves not far from Alma's grave. All three are in the Garden of Faith, Section 16 in Mt. Washington Cemetery.
