Theodore R. Trebing, 67, a resident of the Madison County Shelter Care Home, died Friday afternoon at St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland. Mr. Trebing, who lived for many years in Glen Carbon, was born Nov. 22, 1904, in Bonanza, Ark., a son of Ludwig and Elizabeth Forster Trebing.
He was married July 10, 1934, in East St. Louis, to Ella Griscott. Mrs. Trebing died in October, 1965.
Surviving are sons Nelson Trebing and Edward Trebing, both of Collinsville, and Theodore Trebing Jr. of Edwardsville; 13 grandchildren; brothers John Trebing, Granite City, Louis Trebing, Glen Carbon and Fred Trebing, Madison. Two sisters preceded him in death.
Burial will be in Glen Carbon Cemetery.
