Robert E Greiner, 76, of Monaca, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2011.

A lifelong resident of Monaca, Bob was born November 24, 1934, a son of the late
Charles and Margaret (Lotz) Greiner. Following graduation from Monaca High School, Bob served in the U S Air Force. He was a member of the Monaca-Center Lodge #791 F. & A. M., New Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church in Economy, Monaca Coronet Band Room and the Beaver Valley Sportsman's Club. His favorite past times were woodworking, tinkering in his garage, hunting and gardening.
Bob was retired from the former Westinghouse Electric Corp., Vanport where he was employed as a machinist.

In addition to his parents. Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Walton Greiner on Oct 6, 2006. His daughter, Carol Ann Greiner Joseph on December 5, 2008 and two sisters, Alma Doyle and Margaret E Buyan.

He leaves a son, Timothy D. (Pam Cupec) Greiner of Ross Twp. (Pittsburgh) and a son in law, David Joseph of Monaca. Four grandchildren: Abigail R Greiner, Ross A Berger, Jr., Noah M. and Elizabeth A. Joseph. A sister, Janet Ersik in Fla. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Ave., Monaca (724 728 4000) where relatives and friends are invited to meet on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., prior to processing to New Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church, 200 Second Street, Economy, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. with Pastor Martin J. Galbraith, officiating.

Interment will follow in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park.
