EVELYN BURGESS
Evelyn burgess, 75, of Moberly, died Tuesday January 3, 2006 at her home.
Services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel in Moberly, with burial in the Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held friday, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Evelyn was born on december 8, 1930, in Moberly, the daughter of Harry D. Moss and Christine (Heathman) Arthur. On June 19, 1963 she married Linwood "Peter" Burgess in Moberly.
She is survived by her children, Donald Arthur, Christopher "Chrissy" Burgess, both of Moberly, Linwood Burgess, Jr. of Columbia; two sisters, Darlene Arthur of Columbia, and Carrie Rayne of Moberly; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three brothers, one sister and one great-granddaughter.
