--Information from the History of Tift County by Ida Belle Williams, C. 1948 by the Tift County Historical Society and reprinted by W H Wolfe Associates of Atlanta in 1979, page 428-429.

"Tillou Bacon was born in her grandparent's home in Albany, Ga; the home of Thomas Henry Willingham and Cecilia Baynard Willingham. She grew up in Eastman, Ga and was graduated from Monroe Female College of Forsyth. She married J. Badger Murrow, a prominent pioneer family member and lawyer from Tifton, GA. She was the niece of Bessie Tift, the wife of Tifton's founder, Henry Harding Tift. The Tift's gave her a lot on 414 Park Avenue and the lumber to build her new home.
Tillou was very musical in voice, piano, and organ. She was a wonderful hostess, particularly kind to children. She was the organist for the First Baptist Church of Tifton for many years. Her brother, Edward Henry Bacon, also married a niece of H. H. Tift, Catherine Harding Tift. She had two sisters, Sallie (Mrs. Reppard Colcord) and Neila (Mrs. Roy Abernathy), of Atlanta, who often visited her.
Tillou and Badger had an only child, Elizabeth(Bess)Tift Murrow who married McCalmy Belknap and lived in Toledo, Ohio.
After Tillou's death in 1922, her husband, Badger, moved to Florida where he married again. He was living in Orlando in 1948"
