Betty Davis, 77, of Georgetown, passed from this life on Friday, October 7, 2011, in Winnfield.
A native of Georgetown, she was an Avon representative.
Services were held at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 10 at Zion Baptist Church in Georgetown with the Revs. Billy Prince, Jr. and Scott Tilton officiating.
Interment followed in the Starks Cemetery of Georgetown under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ivy Cecil Davis; her daughter, Kathy Jean Riggs; and her parents, Allen and Gladis Amberg Cathey.
Survivors include her son, Randy Gene Davis of Georgetown; grandsons, Stephen Riggs, Phillip Riggs, Daniel Riggs, Cody Davis, and Cole Davis; three great granddaughters, Sarah Jean Riggs, Katie Elizabeth Riggs, and McKinzie Davis; a brother, Conard L. Cathey and wife Judy of Many; and sister, Lou Midgett and husband Henry of Georgetown.
