She was born on March 18, 1918, to the late James E. and Clara Smith Parker in Fayette County.
Virginia was a mother to her brothers, nephews, grandchildren and especially her own children.
She is survived by one daughter, Velma Hart of Parkersburg; two sons, Norman Hall of Pondcreek and Dwight Hall of Parkersburg; three sisters, Edna Money Penny of Rittman, Ohio, Cleo Richards of Eskdail, W.Va., and Ruby Petry of Cabin Creek, W.Va.; 17 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Hall; one son, Milton Hall; and several brothers and sisters.
The funeral service will 11 a.m. Thursday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will follow the service at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and an hour before the funeral service on Thursday.
