TWIN FALLS • Our grandmother, Helen Louise, was born to John and Helen Platz on her father's birthday in Shoshone, Idaho.
She is survived by one brother, Fred Platz of Arco; daughter-in-law, Donna McKay; grandchildren, Lynn Mason, DeLynn Rasmusen, Joe Mason, Darrell Mason, Russell Mason, Maxine McKay and William "B.J." McKay; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands, William D. McKay and Ray Holford; both children, Beth Mason and Bill McKay; sisters, Alice Edna Platz, Jane Meservy and Ruth "Sally" Potter; and her parents.
Our family is very thankful to the people involved in her care at home, the hospitals and the care centers.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, in the Kimberly Nazarene Church, with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Lincoln County Cemetery in Shoshone, Idaho. Arrangements are under the direction of Lance Cox and the staff at White Mortuary in Twin Falls.
