George W. Kinzel was the son of Carl "Charles" and Sophia (née Lierk). He married Mabel Bregenzer on 5 May 1917 in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

—George W. Kinzel, 80, president of the Bassett-Kinzel-Crause Inc., a former advertising agency, a number of years before he retired in 1950, died Saturday in the Northeastern Ohio General Hospital in North Madison. Graveside services will be at Lake View Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. today. After retiring, he moved from Cleveland Heights to North Madison. He was a member of the Edgewater Yacht Club and the Union, Hermit and Canterbury golf clubs. A daughter, Mrs. Ayleen Kathe, survives. His wife Mabel died last year.
