CHARLES EUGENE "GENE"ALLISON, 56, of Friendswood, TX, passed away of Kidney Cancer October 8, 2011 at home surrounded by family. Gene was born October 29, 1954, in Artesia, NM to the late Jeannine and Kyler Allison. Gene graduated from Rider High School in Wichita Falls, TX in 1973. He obtained his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M at College Station in 1977. As a Certified Professional Engineer, he was President/Owner of CEA Consulting. On October 21, 1995, he married the love of his life, Terry.

Gene is survived by his loving wife, Terry Sánchez Allison of Friendswood, TX (formerly of Del Rio, TX); siblings Lee Allison and wife Sue of Sanger, TX, and Kay Caughron and husband Kelly of Dallas, TX; In-laws, Frank and Mable Sánchez, Lee and Alice Sánchez, JP and Rosalinda Sánchez all of Del Rio, Cecilia Piembert Scott of Seguin, TX (formerly of Del Rio) and Linda Allison of Cleburne, TX; nieces and nephews, Richard Lee Sánchez, Allison Sánchez, Eddie Frank Sánchez II, JP Sánchez II, and Jessica Rose Sánchez, all of Del Rio, Jennifer Lynn Sánchez Ferrell of Round Rock, TX, Jaime Ranft of New Braunfels, TX, Joshua Allison of Chicago, IL and Nathan Allison of Argyle, TX.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Jeter Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 311 N. Friendswood Drive, Friendswood, Texas 77546. The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 11A at Saint Luke's United Methodist Church, 3471 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77027 in the Chapel with The Rev. Bill Stell officiating. A noon reception at the church will immediately follow the funeral service.

Visitation in Del Rio is planned on Saturday, October 15, 2011 from 11A to 2P, at Don's Funeral Chapel, 307 Plaza Ave., Del Rio, TX 78840 followed by a 3P graveside service at Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Stell of Houston, TX will officiate.

In lieu of usual remembrances memorials may be sent to Saint Luke's United Methodist Church, 3471 Westheimer Road., Houston, TX 77027
