Charles W. Elmer of Friendship died Friday, September 6, 1963 at Roswell Park Memorial Institute following a long illness. He was the widower of Nellie May Goble Elmer who died in 1925.

Mr. Elmer was born in North Cuba, June 23, 1879, a son of Harrison and Adeline Hunt Elmer.

Surviving are two sons; Leroy of Allentown and Harold Richards of Raleigh, North Carolina; two daughters: Mrs. Vena Green, Cuba, and Mrs. Mary Green, Wellsville; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Davis Funeral Home in Friendship with the Rev. Roy F. Black, retired Methodist minister, officiating.

Burial was in Maple Grove Cemetery at Friendship.
