Donna M. Jennings , age 83, of Dundee, Michigan passed away at her home on Monday afternoon, October 10, 2011 following a long illness. She was born in Dundee March 31, 1928 the daughter of Clyde and Metta (White) Austin. She graduated from Dundee High School in 1946 and married James Jennings on March 20, 1948. She had worked for the VanDeVenter Canning Factory in Dundee and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, reading, and crossword puzzles. Her survivors include her husband James; son Wade (Claire) Jennings of Britton; daughter Linda (Dan) Perez of Tustin, Michigan; grandchildren Jessica (Joe) Pellman, Jeremy (Liz) Breitner and Samantha (Shane) Piper; niece Angela Austin. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers Glen and LaVerne Austin. Friends may call from 2:00 P.M. until memorial services at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the Dundee United Methodist Church, 645 Franklin Street. Officiating will be Rev. Douglas Olsen, pastor of the church. There will be a funeral luncheon served at the church immediately following the services. In accordance with her wishes cremation has been held. Private burial will take place later at Maple Grove Cemetery in Dundee .
