Andronico Valenzuela, third child of Jesus Valenzuela and Candelaria Ruiz was born in the San Gabriel area of Los Angeles County, California and baptized at Mission San Gabriel in May 1857. His parents had moved several times, probably for better work for his father. The family finally settled in the Foxen Canyon area near Sisquoc, Santa Barbara County, CA in the 1860s where Andronico and his siblings were raised.

In Dec 1883 Andronico Valenzuela, age 26 and Mistica Ontiveros, age 16 were married at Mission Santa Ynes [Solvang] Santa Barbara County, CA. There were two sons born to Andronico and Mistica: Reginaldo "Reggie" and Guillermo "Willie" Valenzuela. In about 1888 Andronico and Mistica were divorced in Kern County, CA where the family had been living. Andronico was a Barber in Bakersfield at the time of their divorce.

By 1892 Andronico and his younger brother Belisario Valenzuela were both barbers living and working in Hornitos, Mariposa County, CA. Four years later the brothers, along with one or two other brothers and their father Jesus were living in the Madera area working for the lumber mill and flume.

At age 49 Andronico married sweet little 22 yr old Margarita "Maggie" Bustillos (from Sonora, MX) in Madera 1907. Their three sons, Ysidro, James, and Andrew were born in Madera County during the next 5 years. The boys were just 11, 10, and 7 when Andronico died leaving a young widow.

The following information is from Andronico's burial record from "Mrs. R. C. Jay & Son" funeral home in Madera.

Andronico Valenzuela, living at 325 South J Street, Madera, died on 30 Oct 1918 of apoplexy. His doctor was R. R. Dearborn. He was the husband of Margurite Valenzuela. He was born 12 Apr 1857 and was 61 yrs, 6 months, and 17 days old at the time of his death. His occupation was a laborer.
He had lived in Madera for 37 yrs, Joe Valenzuela was the informant at the time of Andronico's death and Andronico's second wife Mrs. A. Valenzuela was in charge. There was a graveside funeral at 2pm in Arbor Vitae Cemetery, Madera on 01 Nov 1918. He was buried in a single plot.

Andronico is buried in an unmarked grave, the actual location of his gravesite in Arbor Vitae Cemetery in unknown at this time according to the Madera County Cemetery District records.
