LITTLE RIVER | Nora A. Rowland, 75, of Little River, died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2004 at her home.

She was born on Sept 19, 1929, in Fairfax, Va., a daughter of the late Peter M. and Catherine C. Barker Magner.

Mrs. Rowland is survived by her husband of 60 years, Donald D. Rowland of Little River; one son, Steven M. Rowland and his wife Joan of Hartwood, Va.; three daughters, G. Jean Pitner and her husband Sperry of Little River, Donna C. Watts and her husband Don of Goose Creek, Patricia A. LeMay and her husband Burke, of McLoud, Okla.; a brother, Arthur Magner and his wife Marion, of Culpeper, Va.; 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and James Magner, four sisters, Theresa Dove, Helen Windham, Mary Sullivan and Anna Magner.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 5 to 6 p.m. at Lee Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at a later date in Fairfax, Va. Lee Funeral Home & Crematory of Little River/North Myrtle Beach is serving the family.
