Arthur M. Brandeis, age 53 years, the son of Edgar M. Brandeis of Hayward, passed away in Chicago, IL, on July 17, at his home there.
Arthur was born in Lawrence, MA, on Jan. 29, 1902. In 1913 he moved with his parents to Chicago. He attended schools there and in 1918 enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He was honorably discharged in June 1919. In 1931, he came to Hayward and the Town of Lenroot to make his home. In 1953 he moved to Chicago where he lived and was employed until the time of his death.
Funeral services were held in Chicago at the Klaner Funeral Home on Monday, July 25.
Survivors are his father, Edgar, of Hayward and one brother, Louis, of Chicago. His mother, Sadie Brandeis, preceded him in death on June 9 of this year. His friends here were very shocked to hear of his sudden passing.
Funeral arrangements in Chicago were made through the Anderson Funeral Home of this city.
