Frank Joseph Baeli, 76, of Brick, NJ, passed away at home on Saturday, April 29, 2006. Born in Hackensack, he lived in Bayville, Berkeley Township, and Toms River before moving to Brick in 1996. He was a supervisor with the New Brunswick Scientific Company in Edison, for 40 years before retiring in 1994. He was a Korean War Army veteran, a New Jersey Diamond Gloves Boxing champ in 1946 and a Roller Derby skater from 1949 to 1953. He was a parishioner of the Church of the Visitation in Brick. Beloved father of Karen Baeli of Bayville, Steven of Brick, Robert of Toms River and Michael Baeli of California. Loving grandfather of six and great-grandfather of six. Dear brother of Emma Baeli of Elmwood Park, the late Sam, late Thomas, late Felicia Hess, late Mary Ciurciu and the late Carmela Castlegrande. Visitation was offered on Thursday, May 4, 2006 from 7-9 PM and Friday, May 5, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River, NJ. The funeral was conducted at the funeral home on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at 9 AM with a funeral mass conducted at 10 AM in the Church of the Visitation, 730 Lynwood Avenue, Brick Township, NJ. Entombment followed at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
