Services for Edwina Reece Abbe, 54, of Dalhart were at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, at First Baptist Church of Dalhart. Rev. Travis LaDuke officiated. A second service was at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church of Walters with Rev. Arbuary Ritter officiating. Burial was in Walters Cemetery under direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home. Born July 20, 1940, in Walters, she was married to Howard Abbe Dec. 21, 1957. She and her family lived in Walters until 1973, when they moved to Dalhart, where she had lived since that time. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Dalhart.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Debbie of Dalhart and Donna Simmons of
Amarillo; her mother, Ima Lee Reece of Iowa Park; one brother, Eddie Reece; one sister, Celley Hickey, both of Iowa Park, and four grandchildren.
