Inez O. Wooten Fuqua, 91, of Lafayette, died at 1:13 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at I U Health Arnett Hospital.

She was born December 28, 1919 in Ft. Payne, Alabama to the late Claude B. and Nora Burnette Wooten. She married Floyd J. "Tom" Fuqua on April 13, 1946 in LaPorte, Indiana. He preceded her in death on July 5, 2001. She was also preceded in death by 8 brothers, 2 sisters and one grandson.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan Henry of Lafayette and Cinda Klein (husband Bill) of Killeen, Texas; a son, F. Eric "Rick" Fuqua of Lafayette; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
