2) Mary E. Daughter of Kilburn & Isabella Bates Died Dec. 14, 1826
Removal permit secured by Clarence Bates of Blandford. Remains of both bodies removed and reburied by Mr. Roberts in the Blandford Center Cemetery on the William Bates lot just east of central monument. Permission secured for this from Mr. William Bates of Westfield. Found the name Rhoda, wife of Kilburn Bates, died 1818, inscribed on this central monument. Buried remains of both Mary & Rhoda bodies in one box on June 4,1927.
Old headstones for Rhoda & Mary Bates were left in South Street Cemetery. Relatives did not wish them set up on North Street Cemetery lot.
