Infant Daughter Silas Hardin Dies
Helen Donaldine Hardin, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Silas Hardin died last Saturday morning at the home of her parents, who reside in the Macedonia community. Pneumonia was the immediate cause of the death of the dear little girl, who was one year, one month and eleven days old.
Funeral services were held at Macedonia church on Sunday afternoon at one o'clock and interment followed in the Macedonia cemetery. Rev. Mr. Abernathy conducted the last sad rites, in the presence of a large number of friends of this well-known couple. Funeral arrangements were in charge of Jackson Furniture Company.
Surviving are the parents, one little sister, Frances, her paternal and maternal grand-parents, who are Mr. and Mrs. John Henry Hardin, of Cherokee, and Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Howell, of the Macedonia community.
