Chico Enterprise Record July 21, 1987. Services for Wilda Claudia Stebbins, 77, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Trinity Methodist Church. She died Monday in a local hospital.

Mrs. Stebbins was born Aug. 6, 1909, in Tesla to Claude and Clara Madison Allen. Reared in the Livermore area, she graduated form Lodi High School. She married George Stebbins on Jun 17, 1935, and the couple settled in Chico in 1943.

Mrs. Stebbins was co-founder of the Parkinson Support group in Chico. She was also involved in P.E.O. Chapter D.S.; United Methodist Women; Trinity United Methodist Church; Daughters of the Nile; and Order of the Easter Star, Josephine Chapter No. 104.

Survivors include her husband of Chico; two sons, Richard of Pacific Grove and Robert of St. George, Utah; a daughter, Kay Kurdziel of Chico; and nine grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

Visitation will be from 5-8 o'clock tonight at Brusie Funeral Home, which is handling arrangements. Interment will follow the service in Glen Oaks Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church or Parkinson's' Disease Foundation in care of the funeral home. - obituary courtesy Cliff Doel.
