MAYFIELD, Ky.--Private graveside services for Genie Earl Presson, 87, of Mayfield were Monday at Maplewood Cemetery in Henry County, Tenn.

Mr. Presson died at 3:25 p.m. Friday at Green Acres Health Care.

He is survived by his son, Danny Presson of Hickory; one brother; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Presson was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtice Presson; and two sons, Teddy Earl Presson and Genie Lynn Presson. His parents were Alvin and Betty E. Nichols Presson.

Byrn Funeral Home of Mayfield was in charge of arrangements.

I had Betty (Hudson) Presson link as his mother but saw an Ida (Nichols) Presson that was married to Alvin the father so Ida (Nichols) might be his mother instead.
