Vivian was the daughter of Eugene and Irene Hart. She was eight years old and in the third grade. She like to sew and made all her doll clothes. She also played the piano well, but planned to be a singer. She thought the piano was too hard of work. Vivian was one of 45 killed (along with her brother and sister) when her school was bombed by a disgruntled employee. It remains as the worst attack upon a school in the history of the United States.
