Dr. Kevin Bosner was a businessman and academic. He held teacung positions at St. John Fisher College, SUNY Geneseo, SUNY Brockport, and RIT. At the time of his death, he served as Assistant Professor of Business at Medaille College in Buffalo, NY, where he served as adviser to the Alpha Chi National Honor Society and was instrumental in the development of Medaille's fledgling Masters of Science in Accounting degree.
He had experience teaching courses in accounting, finance and management. Before he began his career in teaching, Bosner held management positions at such companies as Germanow-Simon, Chili Plastics, IMPCO Direct Marketing, and Case Hoyt Printers. He wa a Certified Management Accountant and was also certified in Business Process Re-engineering.
Dr. Bosner held an MBA in finance & accounting from RIT, and completed his Ph.D. in organization and management from Capella University in 2007. He was a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, the Financial Executives Institute, the Society of Human Resource Managers and Golden Key International Honour Society.
He leaves his wife, Mary Catherine; son, Richard; daughter, Alanna (Kevin) LaMoy; granddaughter, Erica; brothers, John (Mary Pat) and Leo (Patricia); sister, Sabina Steffenhagen; nephews and nieces, John and Joann Steffenhagen, Kimberly McCombs, Christopher Bosner and Lisa Fulk; grand- nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister, Maureen "Kate" Bosner.
