Mr. Godbolt Sr., a maintenance worker for the Housing Authority of New Orleans, died of undetermined causes at Pendleton Memorial Methodist Hospital. He was 43. Mr. Godbolt was a lifelong Resident Of New Orleans. He attended G.W. Carver High School and was a member of Carver Desire Baptist Church and Loving Four Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Lee and Charley Jr., his Mother, Estelle T. Godbolt, a brother, Fred Lee Godbolt Jr. of Los Angeles; a sister, Barbara A. Godbolt Dunbar Of Los Angeles; and a grandchild. A funeral was held on March 13 at 10 A.M. at Gaskin-Tilly Mortuary, 1225 N. Rampart St. Visitation was on March 13 at 8am. Burial Was at Providence Memorial Park. Times Picayune 03-12-1999.
