Chester J. Mnich Sr., 57, of 303 Pleasant Drive, East Syracuse, died yesterday in St. Joseph's Hospital. A native Syracusan, Mr. Mnich was a sheet metal worker for Lincoln Supply Co. and was a former Lennox Furnace Co. employee. He was a communicant of St. Matthew's Church. He was a member of Teamsters union Local 317 and the Pastime Athletic Club. Surviving are his wife, Dorothy Kelton Mnich; a son, Chester J. Jr. of Liverpool; two daughters, Judith Haag of Minoa and Saundra Mnich of East Suracuse; two brothers, Raymond of Brewerton and William; a sister, Veronica Wasnick; and three grandchildren. Services will be Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. Matthew's Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, DeWitt. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
