Auguste was the daughter of Johannes Grunewald and his wife, Dorothea Pomplien. She was married prior to November of 1881 to Herman Dollase in Germany. They had seven children, the eldest two born in Germany. They settled in Watertown Wis in 1884. Funeral was held from St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Watertown on October 14.
