Holly Ann Bacon passed away on Feb 17, 2011 peacefully in her sleep in Reno, NV. Born in Carson City, NV on Feb 6, 1960 to James and Marlene Bacon, she grew up into a beautiful and spontaneous woman. Her love for animals and numerous sports made every day an interesting one. She was always very family oriented and loved her friends dearly.

As a child, she attended grade school in Gardnerville and later went to High School in Fallon. As an adult, she worked as an accountant for several casinos in Reno and was also an accountant for Reno Sparks Cab. She married Gary Amaral at the height of her life. In her later years, she lived in Fallon, Nevada with her three horses, eight chickens, a dog, and several other wild, beloved creatures.

She is preceded in death by her father James Bacon, her grandmother Nora Hayden, her uncle Charles Bacon, her grandfather and grandmother, Raymond and Helen Dietrich, and her uncle Donald Dietrich. She is survived by her mother Marlene Bacon, her sister Valerie Paulson (Stacy), her niece Candace Paulson, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Holly Ann was always the one to make everyone smile, even when she herself wasn't in the best of moods. She was always the life of the party and was outstandingly kind and outgoing. We will miss you dearly and you will always fill our hearts with joy.
