Peter Deppiesse, aged 70, passed away at 8:45 p.m., in Random Lake, Wednesday at the home of his brother, John L. Deppiesse, in Random Lake.
Mr. Deppiesse resided here all his life, except for a few years he lived in the West.
He is survived by the following named brothers and sisters: Jacob Deppiesse of Red Wing, Kansas; John L. Deppiesse, Mrs. Nic Meyer of Random Lake, Mrs. Nic Ruesch and Mrs. Thomas Mallinger of Belgium, Wis.; Mrs. Jacob Wetor of Dacada, Mrs. Nic Feltes of Claflin, Kansas, and Martin Deppiesse of South Dakota.
Out-of-town relatives who were present at the services are as follows: Mrs. Clara Deppiesse, Miss Alice Deppiesse, Mr. and Mrs. Nic Becker, Vernon Deppiesse, all of Milwaukee; Mrs. Nic Feltes of Claflin, Kansas; Jac. Deppiesse and sons, Lawrence and Arthur, of Red Wing, Kansas; Mr. and Mrs. Al Rodenkirk of Wilmette, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Mallinger and son, of Cedar Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Nic Risch of Belgium, Wis.
Services were held Wednesday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Mary's church here, the Rev. John Koelzer officiating, and at 10 o'clock in St. Nicholas church at Dacada, where a mass was read by the Rev. E. Beck. The interment was in St. Nicholas church cemetery at Dacada.
