Placed in the House of reception of New York Juvenile Asylum 7-25-1884. Sent on the Orphan train from New York City to the midwest. Tilly was placed with Alfred A Walker in Wayne Co, ILL on 10/15/1884, then placed with a Mr. Frederick Pries in Hoyleton, Washington Co, Ill and in 1893 moved to St. Louis, MO. She married the first time at age 19 to John Brown and had a daughter Blanche born in Oct 1893, She married second to Charles Joshua Evilsizer around 1897. The had six children: Charles Jefferson, Bartling, Bell Neely, Ray Lawrence Ellsworth Clarence and Jessie Marie Gould

Mrs. Matilda Evilsizer, 83, of DuBois died Friday In St. Elizabeth's hospital. Her husband Chas. Evilsizer preceded her in death .
The body of Mrs. Evilsizer, who had been a medical patient at the hospital since January 9, was removed to DuBois.
